The Pinpoint 600 Advanced System provides protection for staff at risk from violence and threatening situations at work. Reliable and very easy to use, the system employs Pinpoints trusted patented infrared

technology. It is free from false alarms and highlights only genuine cases of need, maximising staff response. Affordable and cost effective, total staff protection can be achieved without comprising safety.

How does the Pinpoint System work?

Each staff member wears a small Personal Infrared Transmitter on a belt, which in the event of an attack or threatening situation, is simply pulled free from it's retaining pin. (Because of the power, there is no need to point the Transmitter at the Receiver Unit.)

This instantly floods the area with coded infrared signals which activate the nearest Infrared Receiver Unit. These are installed in the ceiling or high on a wall of every room, corridor or other location where protective cover is required.

The exact location of the incident is flashed up immediately on all Attack Display Units or on to Display Pagers carried by designated staff.

Addressable Receiver Unit

The Addressable Receiver Units have an address range of 01 to 99. Model 690 performs as a basic single-code Receiver Unit supporting Overdoor Lights but no other accessories.

Model 692 is a twin-code unit accepting both emergency and call from a Model 618 Transmitter. It will support single or dual Overdoor Lights and also provides inputs for attaching associated connected Receiver Units and other devices such as Door Contacts and Panic Buttons.

Attack Display Unit

When alarmed, the Pinpoint 600 Advanced LCD Attack Display Unit displays up to 32 backlit characters showing the precise location of where an incident has taken place.

Central Services Unit

A single unit consisting internally of a 1.5amp Power supply, connections for three data rings, a power-down relay arrangement, a back-up battery and a buzzer to give warning of mains power failure.
